Today is the second day of the eTwinning Learning Event I am presenting entitled “iPads – Using Bloom’s Taxonomy”. Over the next two weeks 150 participants will be exploring aspects of the educational use of iPad apps within eTwinning with the help of Bloom’s taxonomy.
A main goal for this Learning Event will be to identify and build off of the participants’ existing expertise in this area. We will all learn much from each other.
Every teacher’s participation in this Learning Event is highly valued, so I would like to thank each and every one of them for their time and commitment.
The Learning Event is designed around learning activities. Here is the schedule:
13th – 14th February Welcome! Main points: purpose of the event, expectations, introductions, ice-breaking activity.
15th – 16th February iPad as Tool Main learning objective: research and analyse the iPad as a learning tool.
17th – 19th February Bloom’s Taxonomy Main learning objective: research and analyse Bloom’s taxonomy in connection with iPad apps.
20th – 26th February Lessons in Appthusiasm Main learning objective: evaluate and create lessons/activities/tasks using iPad apps.
I wish good luck to all participants and am confident that by the end of the Event all eTwinners taking part in it will have realised that the iPad can and should be more readily integrated as a method of learning in our classes and in our eTwinning projects.
